Maryland in July

Makayla and I went back to Maryland to visit the Dady side of the family. My dad and I share a birthday, and we specifically scheduled the trip so that we could celebrate this year's birthday together. We had a wonderful time!

Gail threw a very elaborate surprise birthday party for dad. The next two pictures are from the party. Makayla did very well, especially considering she was up about 3 hours past her normal bedtime. Her "pose" has a calming effect and is what she does when she is tired.
